HR professionals, students, entrepreneurs and other managers and business leaders will have access to a new, powerful and succinct resource in the area of employee recognition.

Renowned experts Jean-Pierre Brun, employee engagement specialist and author of Missing Pieces: 7 Ways to Improve Employee Well-Being and Organizational Effectiveness and Christophe Laval, founding President of the international employee engagement and well-being company, VPHR, officially launched their new book last night, Le pouvoir de la reconnaissance au travail, at an industry event organized by Rideau Recognition in Old Montreal. The French language book was released earlier this month and is available on Amazon.ca. The English version will be released in a few months and will be co-authored by Montreal’s Peter W. Hart, president of Rideau Recognition.

“Like so many, I have been the grateful recipient of both Jean-Pierre and Christophe’s thought leadership over the years, and I always look forward to their innovation and creativity in offering simple and effective solutions to some of the most complex organizational issues”, says Rideau president and CEO, Peter W. Le pouvoir de la reconnaissance au travail outlines the many ways to recognize and motivate individuals and collective work units. The authors say the book was designed with the end user in mind and consider it a “Strategic Playbook” for those who want better results from their organization – no matter the person’s job title or sphere of organizational influence. 

“The book was written for anyone in organizations wanting to improve the manager-employee relationship”, says co-author Christophe Laval, who arrived from France earlier in the week to attend the book launch. “We’ve identified 30 facets of employee recognition at work and given the reader practical insights and solutions to help foster better relationships among employees, managers and peers”.

“I am so excited to be launching our book in this beautiful venue, especially since People Artist co-author and Rideau CEO, Peter W. Hart, will be co-authoring the English- edition of the book,” says Jean-Pierre Brun.
