UnitedHealth Group, VocoVision, and GitLab among companies that hired the most remote workers this summer
Working remotely one hundred percent of the time is consistently the top choice for flexible work arrangements among professionals. To help job seekers find these types of jobs, today FlexJobs announced the top 15 companies hiring for the most fully remote jobs this summer. This list is based on an analysis of over 51,000 companies and their remote job posting histories in the FlexJobs database between June 1, 2019, and August 31, 2019. A fully remote job refers to a job that requires no on-site office time and can be performed 100 percent from home.
“Remote work has grown 91% over the last 10 years, and it shows no signs of slowing down,” said Sara Sutton, founder, and CEO of FlexJobs. “Technological advancements, the availability of high-speed Internet, generational changes, and interest from job seekers have all played a role in this growth. While some industry sectors like computer & IT have a longer history of encouraging remote work, it is now also being more readily adopted by other industries as well,” Sutton concluded.
